The very first thing to understand or realise when your Marraige is not working is IT IS NOT IN THE WILL OF GOD to get married to the one you got married. The person who God wants in your life would always give you peace, love and strength and not drain you.
IT’S THE WILL OF THE MAN AND HIS CARNAL NATURE THAT INTERFERES THE DIVINE PURPOSE .
It happened with our father Adam and it will happen to us too.
The various reasons of a failed marriage are as below :
1) Poor prayer life #LUKEWARMNESS
2) Lack of knowledge of God’s word #NODIRECTION
3) Ignorance of God’s plans & will #STUPID
4) Lust of flesh or giving into the voice of the outer man than the inner man #SINFUL
5) Enemy’s influence over you to destruct God’s divine plan #TEMPTED
6) Grieving the spirit of God i.e. to give enemy a stronghold and power over you ,through the sins we continue to commit that will block the blessings of God. As where there is sin there’s no progress in our spiritual life. #BONDAGE OF SIN.
7) We end up choosing or marrying the wrong person in the hurry to get married but you are not prepared for to be a husband or a wife yet. #FOOLISHBABE
The greatest mistake or sin of all for the wrong marriages is assuming that your will is God’s or you just don’t want to be alone
and as you will be too excited with your new partner that is around you only for a few hours showing their charm which is in a way hiding the ugly side of em that will be revealed in the later stage which is only after marraige.
NOW that you have messed up with God’s plans with this marriage you have Brought frustration to the Lord.
GOD IS FAITHFUL AND ALWAYS MAKES A WAY BECAUSE HE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME :
I want to give an example of great man of God George muller who married his first wife thinking that she’s the one from the Lord it was his heart’s desire to get married to her and he assumed that it was Gods will and eventually they got married.
As the scripture says Though the man plans a lot God shall establish His plans.
We see lot of struggle in his life after marrying her , in finances and in his daily life though he was content with his life and wife, as he liked her a lot and he got what he wanted. One great quality about him is Praying and pleading God not for himself but for others,which God liked about him and this is his righteousness and his spirit that was willing to do God’s work with zeal and passion to fulfil The assignment of the Lord which is “GOD IS MY PROVIDER AND EVEN IF I HAD TO DIE I WOULD NOT ASK ANY MAN FOR HELP BUT I WILL NEVER STOP LOOKING UNTO HEAVEN FROM WHERE MY HELP COMES.”
He was a man that was dependent on God totally 100% when it came to His commission as a servant.
And eventually his wife died and this is where it gets interesting he gets married again and this lady was the eve that God had planned and Lord was awaiting to fulfil His plans through her which was his intention for marage. Just like how our earthly parents have a perfect plan for our lives in everything esp. when it comes to marrage they r very keen you get the right partner that will add to you.
And His second wife was supposed to be the first however George muller given into his carnal nature and followed our father Adam and messed the plan but lord the father in heaven is always faithful to His children and that’s what he just did. He was watching his son that he wouldn’t lack and as this marrage was against the will of the Lord and George hurried he had to face the consequences. But God continued to be faithful and trained him even hard n prepared him so as to fulfil the plan He has for his son. And all that he had planned initially through the second wife whom he intended to be his first he accomplished using his expertise that he learned over the years in father busines and Lord greatly extended His boundaries and made him a great example to the coming generations.
Now you have entered into a wrong marrage or married the woman who is boy in God’s will which you realised a bit late or later having a dozen kids and you are bound in this bond for the sake of your kids. Hey but but There’s always room for grace in your life and you stil have a chance with the Lord to make this mistake right and to become pleasing unto God again.
SOLUTION FOR THIS TERRIBLE FAILURE OR GREAT FALL :
Christ alone certainly is the solution as God has come to give us the life of victory and abundance and he removed our sins forever through cross and we no longer are bound to sins of past or present or even future. But there’s your part too tat you MUST do to make this marrage work. Remember God assigned work to Adam & Eve when He placed them in Eden.
STEPS TO CURE THIS SITUATION
Step 1 : Pray for urself and seek God’s forgiveness for giving into your flesh and went against the Lord marrying the wrong partner.
STEP 2 : Pray for your partner to become the eve he intended
STEP 3 : Help your partner understand that what you did is against the wil of God but God through Christ will repair and restore your marrage life as He is a God that builds not destroys.
STEP 4: Make Jesus as the head of your family and Ask God to release the anointing as the Man / Woman Of the house and to guide family in the way God wants.
STEP 5 : Lead the family into a great prayer life before u do it you must become a prayer person
“If there’s anything that u can teach your kids is to be prayerful. This best gift that you can pass onto the generations is set an example of how you can follow our God Jesus and live a life pleasing to Him And share them the wisdom you earned through the years and explain how did you overcome struggles of marrage and how God made your mistakes right share your testimony”
STEP 6 : Fast and Pray for God to fulfil His plans of marrage and to turn the heart of your partner to help them become the person that He intended to be to have a successful marrage and to prosper and r progress.
With the above tips you are about to start a new journey to rescue your marage n Become a great testimony of God as a couple and also as an individual. AS IRON SHARPENS IRON SO A HUSBAND MUST SHARPEN HIS WIFE AND YES ALWAYS TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE.
ABOVE ALL ACTIVATE YOUR PRAYER LIFE IN MARRIAGE BY PRAYING REGULARLY OR DAILY AND INVOLVE TOGETHER IN DOING THE CHURCH ACTIVITIES. ALWAYS PRAY TOGETHER AND SEEK FELLOWSHIP OF HOLYSPIRIT WHICH MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. AMEN.
